Merry Christmas!!

Next Thursday our class is having a Moring Tea to celebrate the year. We have to bring some food to share. Ms Whitwell has given us a name and we have to buy a small present for them, it has to be something meaningful to the person.

Day Dreams

For writing this week we wrote a Poem about Day Dreams.

 

 

 

Ms. Whitwell thinks I`m Reading

But No...

I`m eating yummy food like chocolate and ice-cream,

So much food whizzing round me, I`ll have this and that.

"Ella start Reading."

 

Ms. Whitwell thinks I`m Concentrating

But really I`m...

Cantering.

 Riding round a ring at the Parakino Horse sports,

 "3rd prize overall goes to Carissa Rees"...

"Second prize goes to"...

"Ella concentrate please. "

 

Ms. Whitwell thinks I`m Singing...

But I`m Shopping,

going from shop to shop.

That book looks nice, that top is really pretty.

I start to wonder what  mum is  getting me for my birthday...

"Ella you're not singing,"

Interrupts again.

Scraffitio

During Art we have been doing Scraffitio. You have to think of a picture scene and then get a piece  of paper and colour it in with strips of different colours. After you need to paint it completely black and leave it to dry. Once it has dried you scratch of your picture of. Then you have a Scraffitio  picture.

How to have a good Holiday cake

Ingredients

1 family

Handful of slacking friends

A place to move to

trucks

 An old house

A spa pool

A little cousin

Unpacked room

Laughs and giggles

 

Cut one happy family and melt.

Add a handful of slacking friends and Mix Well !

Put in a place to leave, a place to move to and some trucks.

Sift unpacked room, laughs and giggles.

Fold into other mixture.

Pour into new house in town.

Bake for 3 hours on 180 degrees and leave to cool for an hour.

Sprinkle a spa pool and little cousin over the top.

Our Tea Party

On the last day of term 3, our class had a Mad Hatters Tea Party because we had been reading Alice in Wonderland. We all watched the movie Alice in Wonderland. It was a great party. We had to wear hats to school. In the morning we told the class about our hats. After morning tea we had a Mad Hatters Tea Party. We brought our own teacups. Ms Whitwell made us some juice that we used as tea. We ate some food and it was a great day to end the term.

The Jabberwocky

Last term Fordell school put on a play called the Jabberwocky. It was fun and interesting. Every one that came to watch would have had a great time. Here are some great photos.

Hockey Finals

On Wednesday the Fordell Sticks Hockey team played St Georges at 3:30. St Georges scored a goal but it was disallowed, that came as fantastic news for us. We missed a few goals but in the second half we finally scored. In the end we won 1-0. We`ve played St Georges before, the first time we lost3-2, the second  time we won 1-0  and this time we won 1-0 and all together we came 5th in the hockey season.
